Connect Your Students with Materials Research Through our Affiliate Quantum Design

Quantum Design, Inc., (QD) a leading manfacturer of cryogenic materials characterization platforms used throughout the physical sciences, is also deeply committed to educating the next generation of materials researchers. To take this effort to a new level, QD has developed an educational website (education.qdusa.com) to encourage the development and sharing of measurement curricula using its wide range of measurement options along with its PPMS® VersaLab™, a cryo-cooled temperature and magnetic field platform.

Quantum Design believes in the importance of innovations for educating tomorrow's researchers, especially in the fields of condensed matter physics, chemistry and materials science. Our primary goal is to teach students how to preserve and foster their magical curiosity and to learn how to express it creatively. This new website is part of an initiative between QD and leading universities to develop a teaching curriculum of core research skills that exploits simple and "uncluttered" leading edge technology to inspire students to learn in new and more meaningful ways.

See what faculty are saying about ScholarBridge!

"ScholarBridge provides a platform where social scientists can introduce their research projects to undergraduate students. The site is highly customizable, which means that researchers have full control over the profile they present, as well as over any opportunities for research asssistantship that they might care to advertise."

"Thanks to ScholarBridge, I have been able to attract motivated, hard-working students to work with me. These are studnets with whom I may not have otherwise interacted, since many come from fields other than Political Science."
